Our role is to introduce customers to suitable, licensed private hire and chauffeur operators who fulfil journeys independently.

2. Your Contract for Transport

When you book a journey through driven.travel:

  • Your contract for the transport service is with the licensed operator responsible for your journey, not with driven.travel.
  • The operator will provide the transport service, including the vehicle and driver, and will issue the formal booking confirmation and any invoices.
  • Driven.travel is not a party to the transport contract.

Details of the operator handling your journey will be provided to you as part of the booking process or confirmation.

3. Licensed Operators

All journeys arranged through driven.travel are fulfilled by independent operators who confirm that they:

  • Hold a valid private hire or chauffeur operator licence
  • Use licensed vehicles and drivers
  • Maintain appropriate insurance
  • Comply with all applicable laws and local authority requirements

Each operator is responsible for the services they provide.

4. Booking Requests and Confirmations

  • Submitting a request through driven.travel does not constitute a confirmed booking.
  • A booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from the operator responsible for your journey.
  • Prices, vehicle types and availability are subject to confirmation by the operator.

5. Payments

  • Payment terms will be confirmed by the operator providing your journey.
  • Payments are usually made directly to the operator, unless otherwise stated.
  • Driven.travel does not normally take payment for transport services.

6. Changes, Cancellations and Refunds

  • Any changes, cancellations or refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of the operator providing your journey.
  • Driven.travel may assist with communication but cannot override an operator’s cancellation or refund policy.

7. Delays, Disruptions and Force Majeure

Operators will make reasonable efforts to complete journeys as agreed. However, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, accidents, flight or train disruptions, or events beyond anyone’s control.

Driven.travel is not responsible for delays or service disruptions caused by such circumstances.

8. Liability

  • Driven.travel is not liable for the acts or omissions of independent operators, drivers or third parties.
  • Any claims relating to the transport service should be directed to the operator who provided the journey.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

9. Use of the Website

You agree to use the driven.travel website lawfully and not to misuse or interfere with its operation. We may suspend or restrict access if misuse is identified.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using driven.travel, you consent to the sharing of relevant booking information with operators for the purpose of fulfilling your journey.
